The Elephant of Probation...
A Letter from Wiggles & Giggles
Let’s address the elephant in the room…
Yes, Wiggles & Giggles is currently on probation. As of August 2025, We have three months left of a 6 month probation, and I want to talk openly about what that really means.
First, let me be clear: we have never had any founded claims of abuse or neglect. Not once.
The probation is due to receiving too many violations of the same type — and that’s because of my very strict policy of putting children first. Their health, their safety, and their happiness will always come before paperwork. Every single time.
As many of you know, Wiggles & Giggles "The Childcare Center" was born right after COVID. While child care centers were closing and providers were leaving the field, Shane and I (lifelong child advocates and providers in Longmont) jumped in with both feet. At the time, and for 20+ years we were running a Licensed Large Home Childcare. In the Fall of 2022 and within six months, we purchased not one, but two centers — all in the name of helping our community and kids in need.
Now, let’s be honest: passion is my superpower, but it doesn’t always come with a handbook. The difference between running home childcare and running a licensed childcare center is… vast. Staffing was an issue, regulations were overwhelming, and while the state gave us grace for as long as it could, eventually, probation was the next step.
But here’s the thing: probation turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I closed the Boulder center and put all my focus into Wiggles & Giggles here in Longmont — the real OG.
Since then, here’s what we’ve built together:
We may be on probation, but we are not defeated. We’re growing, we’re learning, and most importantly, we’re still here, doing what we love most everyday: giving kids a safe, joyful, nurturing place to learn and grow.
With gratitude (and a little humor),

Since then, here’s what we’ve built together:
- A dedicated team of teachers who have been with us for well over a year (and counting).
- Two years in a row named “Best of Longmont Childcare” — chosen because of you, our parents.
- A collection of real reviews from real families that reflect the care, love, and commitment we pour into your children every single day.
We may be on probation, but we are not defeated. We’re growing, we’re learning, and most importantly, we’re still here, doing what we love most everyday: giving kids a safe, joyful, nurturing place to learn and grow.
