Pre-Literacy
The Wiggles and Giggles Library is also set-up to align with the monthly theme. Everyday, children are encouraged to participate in story time.  We also have an abundance of books for your child's own choosing that we rotate in and out throughout the year.
We also support letter recognition through zoo-phonics, a fun and memorable way that employs movement with each letter.  Zoo-phonics is also used in many of our districts Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms providing a seamless and comforting transition into traditional elementary education.  It can provide a natural stepping stone and provide a child with much needed sense of confidence as they grow.

Dramatic Play
The dramatic play area also changes monthly with the theme.  For example the play area for " Down on the farm"  is the veterinary clinic. We have animals and stethoscopes, doctor's outfits, clip boards and  pretend x-rays set up for the kids to explore their roles in a veterinary clinic.
